Minneapolis Real Estate Agent Does Not Like the Spotlight!

Linda Johnson is a seasoned Minneapolis real estate agent who has seen it all. As a matter of fact, she saw a lot of things before she even went into real estate. All of her previous experiences have helped to refine the skills needed to become the successful Minneapolis real estate agent that she is today.

Linda was raised on a farm in southern Minnesota, and was the oldest of seven children. At an early age she learned the value of hard work, and how to take care of others. Do you need to work hard to be successful in real estate? Are you kidding? Successful agents work days, evenings and weekends. Sixty hours a week or more is not unusual for Linda. Do you need to know how to take care of others? Most agents will tell you that they encounter “high maintenance” buyers from time to time. “High maintenance” is not meant in a negative way. Sometimes new buyers are nervous and confused, and need some extra TLC. In these cases, Linda knows the importance of prompt and continuous communication. Sometimes sellers are in low or negative-equity situations, and are understandably upset. A good Minneapolis real estate agent like Linda knows how patience and careful explanation can help a seller to make the best of a difficult education.

After high school, became a registered nurse and worked night shift in critical care for 12 years. During this time, Linda learned how to think on her feet and cope with virtually any crisis. This experience proved to be invaluable because no two days were the same. A Minneapolis real estate agent knows that no two buyers are the same, no two transactions are the same, and that almost anything can happen. Linda knows how to cope with any unusual circumstances that could threaten a successful closing.

In 1984, Linda opened a bridal salon in Wayzata in 1984. It was this experience that probably required more nurturing, counseling, and problems solving than any of her previous careers.

After selling her bridal salon business, Linda became a Minneapolis real estate agent and has enjoyed meeting the special challenges that home buying and home selling situations can present.

Unlike many egocentric REALTORS who like to be the focus of attention, Linda is not very comfortable with talking about her accomplishments. However, her clients don’t have any problems talking about her. Check out this link to see some glowing testimonials about this Minneapolis real estate agent.

Linda’s motto is “I’m not number one… YOU are!” The slogan suits her personality. But if you ask her clients, Linda is definitely the number one Mineapolis real estate agent!

Linda sounds like the kind of agent I would enjoy working with. Keep up the good work! My wife and I fly into Minneapolis a couple of times a year on our way to Wisconsin. You’re very lucky to be selling homes in such a beautiful area.

Kudos to Linda for her good business ethics. Agents should build relationships with the buyers, and if it means putting in an extra effort to help them come to an informed buying decision, then so be it. It’s all worth it.

I think it’s always better to be humble, like Linda does it. With the kind of slogan she has, her clients are bound to think that she cares about them and wants a win-win deal for both of them.

I can totally appreciate your not wanting to be in the spotlight. I hate that also and even did not want to disclose all my education and experience even though it needed to be disclosed.

I love the idea of your blog here about yourself. I can do that and anyone who is interested can read it but I do not have it blaring out at everyone.

    Good job!
