Questions About 911

by Kermit Johnson on September 8, 2008

September 11th 2001 is a day that has certainly gone down in infamy, and hopefully the victims and the heroes will always be remembered and honored.  This post is dedicated to them.

Our illustrious former Governor Jesse Ventura has made public remarks suggesting that expert demolition teams would have been needed to have caused the towers to fall, because jet fuel would not burn hot enough to melt steel girders or cause both towers to collapse in the manner that they did.  At first, I thought that maybe this was a kooky notion; we all know Jesse as a colorful outspoken personality who used to make a living by wearing pink feather boas and kissing his biceps while stomping on someone in the wrestling ring.

What is “thermite?” Watch this 6 min video!

His statements piqued my curiosity, so I surfed the net for info.  Of course there is a multitude of wacky right and left extremist sites, and even White Supremacy groups that had their interpretation of events filtered through their agendas.  However I did find a video that included extensive testimony from pilots, engineers, military experts, intelligence officers, and those who were near the crash sites.

Here’s the A Link to the Video:

LOUDER THAN WORDS

I make no conclusions about what happened. Watch it and draw your own. If you are familiar with architecture, airplanes, airplane crash investigation, or know something about demolitions, you may be in a better position to make conclusions than I am.

I tried talking about this video with other bloggers, but I was accused of being unpatriotic or wanting to aid terrorists.  Is Jesse Ventura unpatriotic?  I doubt it.  Were the heroes of 911 who reported some rather strange things actually helping terrorists?  Hardly.  Disagreements about what might have actually happened would seem to make a healthy discussion.  Suppression of questions and attacking your loyalty to your country seems like an endorsement of censorship.  The families of the victims deserve full disclosure of all data and related events.

What grabbed my attention was the testimony of a rescue worker who reported explosions in the lobby of one of the WTC towers, after the plane had struck many floors up.  What really alarmed me was watching the videos of the fall of the third WTC building (WTC 7.)  This was 47 story building that collapsed hours later in a perfectly symmetrical pattern, but was never hit by a plane.

The video also brought some other questions to mind:

  1. Watch Mineta’s (Secretary of Transportation) testimony about Cheney’s behavior as Flight AA 77 approached.  Why was that testimony “accidentally removed” from the 911 Report and archives data?
  2. Why were the families of the victims of United Flight 93 (Pennsylvania crash) not allowed to hear the last three minutes of the voice recorder?
  3. Why is Bin Laden not wanted by the FBI for 911? He is wanted for embassy bombings, but not for this particular crime.
  4. How come NORAD did not do anything about these errant airplanes?
  5. Why is the debris of the Pennsylvania and Pentagon so unusual?
  6. How could a hijacker who supposedly could not even fly a Cessna make such a fantastic, precision turn to hit his target at the pentagon?
  7. Where did all of that molten metal come from?  Why was it also found under the third building, which was not even struck by a plane?

As I lay awake that night after watching all of this, my mind raced with hundreds of other questions.  Perhaps yours will too.

Please forward this post to at least five people and see if they have any questions of their own.

I agree. there are so many questions about the attack. A plane could topple a part of the building, but to render it into absolute collapse? I think it would take at least ten thousand gallons of jet fuel to at least melt the large solid steel foundation of the building. But a plane that size? It didn’t even cut the building in half when it hit it.

These are valid point and I would be interested to know what answers have been given to these points as surely they must have been posed to government before now?

Thanks for the links Kermit…I stayed up waaay too late last night watching.

Interesting points they bring up. I think they are doing their patriotic duty in questioning the official answers, because some of the official answers are just not good enough.

Ah Jessie, I had forgotten about my former Governor. Is he hiding under a rock someplace? I hope.

I will always remember 911 and where I was when this happened.

I never know what to think about the 911 conspiracy theories. The evidence sounds compelling but I dont really know enough about structures and jet fuel to make an informed opinion. I have a friend who has looked into it that is pretty convinced there was something odd was going on. But again its not his field.

I guess the things that stand out are the buildings falling down perfectly and the third building falling hours later.

On the other hand why did Osama take credit for it so quickly if he didnt do it?

Actually, he praised the attackers, but he denied doing it. Osama is the type of guy who is normally happy to take credit for these kinds of things as he has with other actions.

I have no idea what happened that day but do have to raise some questions after this video and a couple others I have watched. It just seems a little off!

    What is a thermite?

“Thermite is a pyrotechnic composition of aluminium powder and a metal oxide which produces an aluminothermic reaction known as a thermite reaction. It is not explosive, but can create short bursts of extremely high temperatures focused on a very small target for a short period of time.”

I have to admit that this is disturbing to me. I would like to believe the Government’s report that this was entirely terrorist related, but after watching this video, I’m not sure what to think.
